Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- All manual labor aspects of the site work project
- Must work safely in a fast-paced environment working around heavy equipment
- Placing underground pipes, doing manual labor and shovel work and operating power tools
- Responsibilities daily include keeping work site clean and organized
- Perform maintenance and cleaning of vehicles and equipment
- Ability to read plans, shoot grades, operate equipment and CDL license, all is a plus.
Competencies
- Ability to complete safety, operational, and other required training with a scheduled time period.
- Communication skills sufficient to complete required job functions.
- Demonstrated ability sufficient to complete regular routine tasks.
- Demonstrated success in the use of required safety equipment.
Hiring Requirements/Preferences:
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Must have site work experience
- Must have work authorization for United States
Work Location and Hours
- Torrington, CT ( Projects involve company vehicle travel throughout the State.
- Monday to Friday - Saturdays as needed
- Typical hours - 6am - 5pm
